St Petersburg Russia - part 3

The Hermitage Museum has an interesting collection of tapestries made in St Petersburg at the first factory devoted to making Russian tapestries. This factory was set up as ordered by Peter I in 1716. Not long after, the first Russian tapestry-making school started.
